The Immigrants’ Assistance Center, Inc. (IAC) is hosting a very important Summer Fundraiser on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The event will take place in the gardens of the Museum of Madeiran Heritage located at 27 Hope Street, New Bedford, MA. Please purchase tickets for this event. We will provide an enjoyable evening, which includes Hors d’ Oeuvres, cash bar and entertainment and a spect Ticket price is only $40.00 per person.
President Trump’s Executive Orders have caused fear and insecurity in the immigrant population, resulting in the continued increase in demand for our services. We need your support to attempt to meet this need. In addition to buying tickets, we welcome any additional donations.
For over 45 years, the IAC has been at the forefront of providing a broad range of services to assist the immigrant community integrate and often attain citizenship status. The communities that we serve are primarily Portuguese, Cape Verdean and Spanish, but our client base is incredible diverse. These services include but are not limited to:
- Assist immigrant families to advocate for their Children’s education
- Assist families in navigating the complex healthcare system
- Assist elders and families in accessing critical social services
- Teach English as a second language
- Guidance and support to attaining citizenship
