ACLU Lobby Day

Our lobby day is focused on legislation that will protect immigrants, fix our broken criminal justice system, advance privacy and safeguard reproductive freedom.

The location and schedule for the day is below:

Registration: 9:30am
Registration will be on-going throughout the day at the Grand Staircase located on the second floor.

Speakers Program and Lobby Training: 10:30am-12:00pm

Lunch and lobbying: 12:00pm-2:00pm
Free boxed lunches will be available. After lunch you will visit your legislators’ offices to discuss priority legislation.

*If you are only available for a portion of the day we encourage you to come when you are able and we’ll make sure you have a chance to visit your legislator.

In the next week we’ll be sending out additional details and materials with tips for lobbying and talking points on the issues. If this is your first time visiting the State House or talking to your legislators, don’t worry! We’ll make sure you have everything you need.
