Tad Devine has produced television advertising in 20 winning U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races, and has worked as a media consultant and strategist in 11 winning campaigns for President and Prime Minister around the world, most recently on Senator Bernie Sander’s Presidential Campaign. He’s been recognized as one of “the nation’s most respected media consultants” by USA Today, and in 2003 Ireland’s Sunday Business Post called his firm “one of the most highly regarded and influential in the world.” He is considered a leading expert on the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination process and general election strategy. Scott Lang served as New Bedford’s Mayor for 3 terms defeating a four-term incumbent to serve as the city’s 37th Mayor. Scott Lang was re-elected for a second term by 87% and his third term, having declared he would not run for a fourth by 78% of the vote.
For decades Scott has been a key strategist, legal counsel and activist in the Democratic Party. Starting as the National Youth Coordinator then staff assistant for Hubert H Humphrey to the Executive Director of the Credentials Committee for the 1976 Democratic National Convention. Scott served as the Deputy to the National Campaign Director, Kennedy for President in D.C. and Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the DNC as well as to Governor Jerry Brown.
Doug Roscoe is a Political Science Professor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and previously was Director of General Education at UMD from 2008-2015. Doug has served as President of the Faculty Senate from 2015 to present.
